Description
Barrow County is soliciting sealed bids for one brand-new, current-production 18,000-pound four-post runway lift for fleet and commercial maintenance. The equipment must meet specified capacity, electrical, lifting-height, safety, ALI certification, runway, motor, and accessory requirements, including two 9,000-pound rolling hydraulic jack beams. The lift must accommodate medium- to heavy-duty trucks with wheelbases up to 220 inches and fit within an 18-foot ceiling and the specified floor area. The bid price must include delivery and complete turnkey installation, including anchor bolts, hydraulic fluid, system bleeding, calibration, load testing, and a functional safety inspection by a factory-trained technician. The anticipated delivery and installation deadline is January 2027. A prime bidder may purchase ALI-certified equipment from an authorized distributor and subcontract installation and ongoing warranty service; subcontractor names do not need to be included with the sealed bid. No site inspection is mandatory. The County requires general liability and workers' compensation insurance with $2 million limits and has confirmed that no bonding is required.
