Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Geological Survey, seeks a contractor for statewide drilling and rock-coring services supporting geologic mapping, groundwater-resource investigations, and geotechnical investigations. Work may include overburden drilling, split-spoon and Shelby-tube sampling, continuous bedrock coring, water hauling, mobilization and remobilization, borehole decommissioning, site restoration, and submission of drilling records. The contractor must mobilize throughout Pennsylvania, work in off-road and remote conditions, core to at least 800 feet below graded surface, collect NQ, HQ, and PQ core, and achieve at least 90% core recovery absent abnormal geological conditions. The contract is scheduled to run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with up to four additional annual renewals. Subcontracting any task or deliverable is prohibited. Award will be based on the lowest total sum, and bids must include the electronic Invitation for Bid and a properly executed Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form. Addendum 1 extends the submission deadline to October 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
