Description
The project is planned to reconstruct and thicken the dam embankment for earthquake safety, build a new spillway to current design standards for flood protection, relocate a historic house, breach a dike, and implement other seismic and safety improvements. The procurement is expected to use a construction manager/general contractor (CM/GC) process. General contractors must be prequalified for the project before submitting a proposal; proposals from contractors that have not met the RFQ requirements will not be accepted. The estimated bid value is $142 million–$162 million. The posting indicates that RFQ information and requirements will be added after the Industry Day, and no solicitation documents are included in the provided package.
