Description
The Juneau Coordinated Transportation Coalition is soliciting funding prioritization requests from member agencies for SFY28 grants for capital projects, with funds available on or after July 1, 2027. Eligible requests may include purchasing, retrofitting, or rebuilding vehicles; purchasing transportation assistance devices; or purchasing transportation services, such as rides on public transit for human service agency clients. Applicants must describe the proposed project, clients served, transportation and social-service needs, estimated cost, vehicle details or anticipated purchased-service usage, local-match capability, emergency vehicle-sharing commitments, and whether the request is for a new or replacement vehicle. Requests selected as local priorities must later be developed into state grant applications, and priority recommendations will be forwarded to the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly for formal adoption by resolution.
