Description
Stafford County Public Schools is seeking multiple licensed architectural and engineering firms to provide on-call, task-order-based geotechnical engineering, special inspections, and construction materials testing services for renovations, expansions, new construction, and existing-facility projects. Services may include site and subsurface investigations, geophysical investigations, drilling, laboratory testing of soil, rock, concrete, aggregate, asphalt, structural steel, and other materials, geotechnical analysis and design, foundation and retaining-wall design, slope stability evaluations, technical reports, construction evaluations, special inspections, and testing documentation. The selected firms must be properly licensed in Virginia and capable of responding to multiple simultaneous assignments. The solicitation anticipates multiple awards, a one-year term with up to three additional one-year renewals, and task orders with individual project fees up to $2,500,000. Proposals are limited to 20 pages, excluding specified items such as cover letters, references, the proposal form, tab pages, and addenda; the required response includes team credentials, relevant project experience, methodology and quality control, response capability, references, certifications, and the proposal form.
