The Defense Information Systems Agency’s Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Unique Communications Solutions for access to its Configuration Accounting Information Retrieval System (CAIRS) software and ongoing maintenance support. The work includes keeping software packages current, upgrades and updates, feature additions, software problem fixes, standard maintenance, training, technical support, and on-site installation and training. The system supports Navy communications sites in the Pacific region, with the Hawaii site added in Option Year One. This is a sources-sought notice, not a request for quotations or proposals. Interested sources must submit a written expression of interest with a detailed capability statement. The anticipated contract structure is one base year plus four option periods. The notice identifies Unique Communications Solutions as the incumbent and sole original equipment manufacturer for CAIRS.
