Description
Middlebury Community Schools seeks symmetrical internet access and data transmission service for Jefferson Elementary School, with 6 Gbps bandwidth scalable to 8 Gbps and guaranteed throughput. The service must include approximately 25 public IPv4 addresses, with pricing for additional addresses and optional IPv6 addresses. Proposals should describe the service handoff, provider-owned onsite equipment, service pathway, any third-party leased lines, and available features such as resiliency, firewall service, and DDoS protection. Any proposed lit-fiber service must be end-to-end with no wireless segments. Responses must include laddered pricing in 1 Gbps increments, complete recurring and nonrecurring costs, a proposed SLA, three similar-service references, the provider’s E-Rate SPIN number, and a sample contract. The SLA must address network availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, 24/7/365 trouble reporting, outage repair, chronic trouble, and service reporting. The requested contract term is three years with up to two optional one-year extensions; service is expected to begin July 1, 2027. The selected provider must accept E-Rate SPI invoicing, and the procurement is contingent on E-Rate funding.
