Description
Greenville Water is soliciting a contractor to complete improvements for an eighth pump at the Adkins Water Treatment Plant High Service Pump Station. The owner will provide the high-service pump; the contractor must furnish and install the motor, common baseplate, coupling, concrete pad, variable-frequency drive, controller, and associated equipment needed for a complete operating system. The work also includes pump suction and discharge piping, fittings, valves, supports, electrical and medium-voltage control equipment, instrumentation, concrete and structural modifications, replacement of an existing ceiling exhaust fan, installation of additional exhaust fans and ductwork, and a louver for variable-frequency-drive exhaust. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, testing, commissioning, documentation, and an approximate work schedule. The bid is a fixed lump-sum submission through the designated procurement portal, and the solicitation requires a bid bond equal to 5 percent of the bid amount, with performance and payment bonds required before work begins.
