Description
The Waukegan Port District is soliciting statements of qualifications from consultants prequalified by the Illinois Department of Transportation in airport planning and special services, airport design, and airport construction inspection. The selected consultant will provide aviation planning, architectural and engineering, preliminary planning and design, complete project design, construction inspection or administration, and special services or studies for future airport grant-funded projects. The anticipated project is construction of a new fuel farm at Waukegan National Airport. The scope includes site survey and existing-conditions documentation, geotechnical investigation, environmental categorical exclusion documentation, design of four 20,000-gallon aboveground storage tanks, SPCCC, pavements, electrical and lighting systems, security cameras, access control, and construction administration. Statements of qualifications must be in PDF format, no more than three pages, and describe the firm's interest, related experience, client references, and key project staff.
