The New York State Thruway Authority is seeking a qualified architectural/engineering firm and proposed team with architectural, engineering, and surveying capabilities to support facility infrastructure projects under its multi-year capital contracts program. Assignments may include wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation or replacement; sewer and watermain work; building additions, renovations, and roof replacement; maintenance facility modernization; zero-emission vehicle fueling and facility upgrades; HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, structural, interior, site, landscape, surveying, mapping, cost estimating, and hazardous-materials-abatement design. Required deliverables may include surveys and mapping, technical memorandums and reports, design reports, material testing reports, and plans, specifications, and estimates. The selected firm may also provide construction support, including progress meetings, submittal and shop-drawing reviews, responses to requests for information, and bidding-process amendments. The anticipated agreement value is up to $3 million for a three-year term, with two additional one-year extension options. The Letter of Interest is limited to three pages, with a separate one-page organizational chart and specified forms; electronic submission requires the LOI as a single three-page PDF and the additional forms in a separate PDF.
