Description
The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of approximately 10,000 linear feet of 8-inch to 18-inch sanitary sewers. The work includes television inspection and recording, sewer cleaning, disposal, and cured-in-place lining services. Bidders must bid on all nine contract items, and the District intends to award one contract covering the complete scope. The estimated contract value is $2,706,674.41, with completion required within 455 calendar days after approval of the contractor's bond. The bid must include a $135,333.72 bid bond. The procurement includes MBE/WBE utilization requirements of 3% minority-owned and/or women-owned business participation and a 3% veteran-owned business participation goal, along with required utilization plans, subcontractor letters of intent, and applicable grant and labor-standard forms. Bids must be uploaded through the project-specific Euna Portal link; mailed, emailed, faxed, or hand-delivered bids will not be accepted.
