Description
The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quotation for boundary line maintenance in the Kisatchie National Forest. The work covers approximately 22.5 miles on the Caney Ranger District and 28.6 miles on the Catahoula Ranger District, including repainting Forest Service boundaries, maintaining property corners, replacing damaged or missing boundary signs and bearing-tree tags, clearing and blazing as required, GPS documentation, photographs, and preparation of Form 7100-52 Corner Records. The contractor must provide the required labor, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, and expertise. Government-furnished items include corner record cards, boundary signs, tags, and posts; the contractor must furnish items such as hardbound field notebooks, red solvent-based boundary paint, brushes, fasteners, and digital and hard-copy deliverables. The quotation must include completed SF 1449 pricing blocks, a detailed technical approach, and past-performance information for up to five similar projects completed within the past three years. Award is expected to be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer with acceptable or neutral past performance.
