Description
Muscatine Power and Water is soliciting sealed bids for six FGD slurry pump packages: two maintenance area sump pumps (P-201-A/B), two return water pumps (P-910-A/B), and two maintenance transfer pumps (P-200-A/B). The scope includes design, fabrication, supply, testing, delivery, documentation, associated motors, and all required labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and appurtenances. Suggested pump manufacturers include Flowserve, KSB GIW, Summit, Shurco, and Metso, while preferred motor manufacturers include Toshiba, WEG, Siemens, SEW, U.S. Motors, and TECO-Westinghouse; equivalent products may be approved by the owner. Design work is to begin immediately after award, with anticipated equipment delivery between December 1, 2027, and February 2, 2028. The solicitation package includes the bid invitation, sealed bid documents, specifications and drawings, a sealed bid form, the contractor's site safety program, and samples. Bids must be submitted electronically through Ion Wave, and the public bid opening will be broadcast online through Microsoft Teams.
