Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) to gather information on potential qualified sources for Body-Worn Cameras, Vehicle-mounted cameras, associated accessories, camera licensing, and video storage services. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is looking for capabilities to meet draft requirements for the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System. The VA is particularly interested in solutions that comply with FedRAMP certification for cloud services and can integrate with the existing Axon video storage system. Key requirements include high-definition dual-view vehicle cameras with AI processing for license plate recognition, interior cameras with infrared, wireless microphones, secure storage, and efficient video management. For body-worn cameras, requirements include high-quality video with low-light performance, multiple microphones, wireless upload capability, streaming, end-to-end encryption, and a minimum twelve-hour battery life. Vendors are asked to provide details on their capabilities, size status, lead times, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) compliance, and adherence to the Non-Manufacturer Rule and Buy American Act.
