Description
The County of Los Angeles is seeking a qualified organization to provide a comprehensive, scalable commercial prepaid card solution. This solution will facilitate the disbursement of subsidies, benefits, and funds to the public through prepaid card accounts and associated debit cards. The selected contractor will be responsible for the procurement, distribution, and management of these prepaid cards. Key services include providing instant issue cards, personalized cards, and virtual cards. The scope also encompasses program administration, including a web-based administrative portal for managing card inventory, enrolling participants, and executing fund disbursements. Financial capabilities, card access (including ATM and mobile wallet integration), and a competitive fee structure with minimal or no fees for participants for standard usage are also critical aspects of the service. The contract is anticipated to have an initial term of five years, with an option for an additional five-year extension.
