Description
The City of Port Wentworth is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified design-build teams for the renovation of Mobley Park. The selected team must provide architectural and engineering design, permitting, construction, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, testing, inspections, training, warranties, and closeout documentation. The scope includes ADA-compliant sidewalk replacement, concrete paving, renovation of three baseball fields, infield reconstruction, grading and drainage, dugout and fence improvements, irrigation systems, replacement of the batting cage, restroom, announcer, and concession building renovations, roofing, architectural finishes, commercial concession equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical improvements. The team must include Georgia-licensed or registered design and construction professionals and demonstrate comparable parks and recreation and design-build experience. Substantial completion is required within 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, followed by final completion within 30 calendar days.
