Description
The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health's Health Science Futures Office is conducting market research for gold-standard Pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry analysis of micro- and nanoplastics in blood, urine, and tissue samples. The method must cover polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene terephthalate, nylon 6, polystyrene, poly-methyl methacrylate, polyurethane, and styrene butadiene rubber, with specified limits of detection and quantification and access to at least an ISO-7 clean room or workstation. The anticipated effort includes establishing a standardized instrument and method within nine months of contract start, followed by approximately 60 months of sample-analysis services. Respondents must provide detailed instrumentation, acquisition, calibration, quality-control, contamination-control, sample-processing, validation, capacity, pricing, development-cost, and relevant-experience information.
