WYOMING COUNTY RFQ Request for Qualifications – Food Commodities Pursuant to the provisions of Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, State of New York, Wyoming County is issuing this Request for Qualifications seeking qualified Vendors to provide food commodities, to also include paper and janitorial supplies for the Wyoming County Jail and Office for the Aging Home Delivered Meals programs. Interested Vendors should submit a Statement of Qualifications on or before October 30, 2026 to be accepted by the Sheriff’s Office Attn: R Bailey, 151 N. Main Street, Warsaw, New York, 14569 no later than 10:00 am., at which time they will be publicly opened. The primary purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to qualify Vendors according to their experience, capabilities, quality, and customer service as they pertain to the County’s commodity needs, expectation of quality, and commodity order, packaging and delivery requirements. The County reserves the right to approve and qualify multiple Vendors and the right to reject any or all submittals received. Description
Wyoming County is soliciting qualifications from vendors to provide food commodities, paper, and janitorial supplies for its jail and Office for the Aging home-delivered meals programs. The county plans to make weekly purchases through vendors’ online ordering systems, compare prices, and select the lowest-cost vendor for each item. Multiple vendors may be qualified. Vendors must meet applicable food quality standards, deliver to the Wyoming County Jail Kitchen, provide an online ordering system listing items, sizes, and prices, and comply with applicable laws and regulations, including providing Safety Data Sheets with each shipment. Shipping, delivery, handling, and fuel surcharges are not allowed.
