Description
Horry County Schools is selling 13,056 surplus Dell Latitude 3120 laptops as-is to a certified electronic recycling company. The laptops were used by students, have expired warranties, contain Dell and school asset tags, and do not include chargers. The devices were not used with protective cases, and a serial-number inventory is provided. Device inspection and photographs are not available. The buyer must include full data wiping, shipping, and on-site packaging in its price; perform Department of Defense-certified erasure; remove all customer information; comply with applicable laws and e-Stewards and/or R2 certification obligations; and provide its e-Stewards or R2 certification with the bid. Devices are stored at one central location on wrapped pallets, with 15 devices per box and no loading dock. Pickup is required within 30 days after final contract award and invoice issuance, unless Horry County Schools approves otherwise. Payment must be made by certified cashier's check when the devices are picked up.
