Description
Horry-Georgetown Technical College seeks a contractor to remove existing non-asbestos VCT from two radiology laboratories, approximately 322 square feet each, at Grand Strand Campus Building 1000, Rooms 1145 A and B. The work includes floor cleaning, patching and leveling, debris removal, installation of 2 mm Nora Noraplan Sentica sheet rubber flooring in color 6524 Frost Bite, approximately 100 square feet of 6-inch Roppe Pinnacle rubber cove base in color 197 Iceberg, and two 3-foot transitions. Floors must be level within 1/16 inch for placement of replacement X-ray machines, and installation must comply with ASTM F710 and manufacturer specifications. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, safety controls, licenses, permits, insurance, dumpster services, and required coordination with college staff and GE representatives. The contractor must also provide a City of Myrtle Beach business license, include 10% attic stock in the quote, identify qualifying subcontractors if applicable, and complete any punch-list work within three business days. Work is expected during the week of December 5, 2026, with possible night or weekend work. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
