Description
The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Illinois is conducting market research for commercial vendors capable of providing military uniform alterations, fitting, tailoring, and insignia attachment services for Illinois Army National Guard personnel. Work includes alterations to Army Green Service Uniform coats, trousers, slacks, skirts, and Heritage Tan 521 shirts; limited shortening of Operational Camouflage Pattern and IHWCU trouser lengths; attachment and removal of rank insignia, unit patches, tapes, badges, service stripes, and overseas bars; and related sewing modifications. All work must comply with Army Regulations 670-1 and 700-84. Vendors must be able to support either mobile, on-site fitting and tailoring events at readiness centers and armories during drill weekends, brick-and-mortar regional service, or both. Government-funded alteration prices may not exceed the specified Army and Air Force Exchange Service rates. Respondents must submit a capability statement of no more than five pages describing company information, socioeconomic status, technical tailoring capacity, compliance with the pricing caps, and geographic coverage, including mobile support capability.
