Description
The National Cemetery Administration is conducting a Sources Sought notice—not a solicitation—to identify capable businesses for turf-care supplies, materials, equipment, labor, and application services at Salisbury National Cemetery. The requirement covers approximately 34 developed acres: 23 acres of tall fescue, 11 acres of bermudagrass, and two acres of planting beds. The anticipated work includes soil sampling; scheduled granular fertilization; pre- and post-emergent crabgrass, broadleaf weed, weed-grass, and nutsedge control; planting-bed herbicide applications; and optional grub, mole-cricket, and fire-ant control. The contractor must provide calibrated equipment, comply with product labels and applicable laws, submit product labels and safety data sheets, maintain application records, post treatment markers, and employ personnel holding valid North Carolina commercial pesticide/herbicide application licenses. A site manager with at least five years of relevant supervisory experience must be physically present during work. Respondents are asked to provide company and socioeconomic information, capabilities and experience, licensing information, self-performance or subcontracting plans, federal contract information, optional nonbinding pricing ranges, feedback on the draft statement of work, and interest in a future solicitation.
