Description
The requirement is for repair or modification of two inertial measuring units, NSN 7H-6605-014950012-VN, TDP Version 004, with delivery FOB origin. The Government states it does not own the technical data or rights needed to obtain the repair from additional sources and considers purchasing those rights or reverse engineering uneconomical. It intends to negotiate with one source under FAR 6.302-1; this presolicitation notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested sources may submit capability information, and the Government may consider responses in deciding whether to compete the procurement. The offeror, product/service, or manufacturer must meet applicable qualification requirements at award.
