Description
Collier County Public Schools seeks one functional three-axis aircraft autopilot trainer system, specified as Avotek's AV23 Advanced Autopilot System Trainer or an approved equal, for its aviation education programs. The system must simulate pitch, roll, and yaw; interface with digital data buses, electronic flight instruments, and pitot-static inputs; provide accessible aircraft-standard wiring and components; and support fault injection for student troubleshooting. Alternate products must meet or exceed the stated technical and training requirements, with a complete product specification sheet submitted for any deviation. The system must include at least a one-year comprehensive warranty covering parts, labor, and required software updates. The vendor must provide technical support by phone or email during standard business hours, access to replacement parts, instructional materials mapped to career and technical education curriculum standards, and delivery and complete setup. Acceptance includes operational verification and instructor sign-off after delivery and instructor training. The bid also requires three references for similar work within the last year, a bidder organization description, prior CCPS experience if applicable, a completed Statement of Qualifications, a current business license, and the specified bid forms and affidavits.
