Description
The City of Anderson is soliciting bids for construction to completely replace the existing flow equalization basin geomembrane liner systems at Generostee Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant and Rocky River Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work includes demolition of the existing liners, subgrade preparation, installation of new 60-mil HDPE geomembrane liner systems and related appurtenances, field seaming and testing, and provision of a spare liner roll. The project requires use of one of three prequalified liner installers: Plastic Fusion Fabrications, Inc.; Environmental Fabrics, Inc.; or Geomembrane Technologies (US) Inc. Bidders must submit qualification information, subcontractor and supplier lists, evidence of authorization or licensure to do business in South Carolina, a bid security, and the completed bid forms and affidavits specified in the project manual. The contract includes a 200-day substantial-completion period and a 230-day final-completion period after the Contract Times commence.
