Description
The City of Oak Hill is soliciting qualifications-based proposals from engineering firms to improve its existing wastewater collection system and potentially extend wastewater service. The selected firm will provide services across planning, design, bidding, construction administration, and project completion, including preliminary engineering reports or feasibility studies, design drawings and technical specifications, bid documents, construction procurement assistance, bid evaluation and award recommendations, construction inspection, contractor pay-estimate review, closeout documentation, and related engineering support. Proposals must include a letter of interest, firm qualifications and experience, project team information, relevant wastewater infrastructure project experience, and references from at least three recent projects of similar scope. Selection will be based on qualifications and technical factors; fees must not be included with the proposal and will be negotiated with the most qualified firm. The project may involve state or federal funding and may require compliance support for environmental review, domestic sourcing, civil rights, relocation, disadvantaged-business participation, permitting, and other applicable program requirements.
