Description
The City seeks one or two consultants to support its Water Department with drinking water quality work on an as-needed basis. Services include system analysis and planning; troubleshooting issues such as taste, odor, discoloration, and customer complaints; reviewing studies and reports; field visits and data collection; technical analyses and report writing; preliminary design recommendations; hazard and resilience assessments; and guidance on compliance with applicable standards. The work also includes project assistance and staff augmentation across water quality projects. Consultants should be able to provide personnel within one working week of notification and work with little to no direct supervision. The City expects to issue task orders for discrete projects and technical guidance. The annual contract amount will not exceed $100,000. The initial term is six months, with options for additional one-year renewals up to five consecutive years. Proposals must include a cover letter, project understanding, qualifications, project approach and schedule, cost schedule, and signed certification statement. The proposal is limited to 15 pages, excluding the cover letter, resumes, certification statement, and cost schedule. Resumes and additional information are optional.
