NOTICE FOR BIDSSt. Charles County is accepting bids for the following:IFB 26-080 CMAQ 7302 (708) Rt N and Hopewell - Duello Intersection and Path ImprovementsBid specifications may be obtained on the Internet at http://www.sccmo.org/Bids.aspx. One [1] signed original and one [1] signed copy of the bid must be received in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the title, date, and time of the bid opening in the lower left corner of the envelope. Bids must be submitted prior to the bid opening to the St. Charles County Finance Department, 201 North Second Street Room 541, St. Charles, Missouri 63301. Bids will be opened on 09/08/26 at 2:00 pm in Room 115 of the St. Charles County Administration Building, 201 North Second Street St. Charles, MO 63301. St. Charles County has the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids. Notice to Contractors Sealed bids for CMAQ 7302 (708) Rt N and Hopewell_Duello Intersection and Path Improvements Project will be received at: 201 North Second Street, Suite 541 St. Charles, Missouri 63301 until 2:00 o'clock P.M. (Prevailing Local Time) on the 8th day of September, at the office of the Finance Department, and at that time will be publicly opened and read in room 116. All bids shall be submitted in the form of one signed original, one signed copy, and one digitized copy. The proposed work, hereinafter called the work, includes: installation of a traffic signal with intersection lighting at Rt N and Hopewell_Duello Rd. Also includes connection of 10ft path and sidewalk improvements. Up to four (4) full sets of drawings and two (2) full sets of specifications will be provided to the successful CONTRACTOR by St. Charles County at no cost to the CONTRACTOR. Additional sets may be purchased by the CONTRACTOR at the printing cost plus ten percent (10%) for handling. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher. St. Charles County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award." All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 from the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. St. Charles County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. St. Charles County, Missouri is soliciting bids for the Rt N and Hopewell/Duello intersection and path improvements project. The work includes installation of a traffic signal with intersection lighting at the intersection of Route N and Hopewell/Duello Road, connection of a 10-foot path, sidewalk improvements, and related public-improvement construction. Bidders must be on the Missouri Department of Transportation Qualified Contractor List, and the contractor questionnaire must be on file seven days before bid opening. Construction labor must be paid at the applicable prevailing wage rate, and on-site employees must complete a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program or an approved equivalent within 60 days of beginning work. A 5% bid bond or certified/cashier's check is required with each proposal. The project has a 0% DBE goal. The successful contractor will receive up to four sets of drawings and two sets of specifications at no cost.
