Description
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, through Alabama State Parks, is soliciting bids for construction of a pickleball court complex at Lakepoint State Park. The scope includes demolition of existing tennis courts and an existing restroom building, installation of new pickleball courts and associated equipment, sidewalks and infrastructure for an owner-supplied prefabricated concrete restroom building, a new prefabricated pavilion, and renovation of ADA parking spaces. Bids must be submitted on State Parks proposal forms or copies thereof, either in person in a sealed envelope or through the Procore website. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Alabama State Parks, in an amount of at least 5% of the bid and no more than $10,000, must accompany the proposal. Contractors exceeding the applicable threshold must hold an Alabama general contractor license and display the current license number on the sealed envelope. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held onsite before the deadline.
