Description
Hillsborough County Engineering and Operations is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for an as-needed, work-order-based term contract covering roadway milling and resurfacing, Superpave asphaltic concrete structural and friction courses, preservation treatments, and Full Depth Reclamation. Related work may include curb and ADA curb-ramp modifications, speed-hump replacement, grading, sodding, earthwork, pavement markings, signage, utility coordination, irrigation repairs, site restoration, and maintenance of traffic. The estimated cost is $16,000,000, including a $1,000,000 allowance for non-priced items. The contract is for two years, with one optional additional two-year renewal period. Bidders must meet specified Florida Department of Transportation prequalification requirements, submit required certifications and bid documents, provide a 5% SBE subcontracting participation goal, and furnish bid, performance, and payment security as required. The bid must be submitted electronically through Euna Procurement; paper, email, fax, and other submission methods are not accepted.
