Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineer Research and Development Center is seeking quarterly inspection and maintenance services for two pump/motor assemblies that operate a fish flume. The contractor must inspect the assemblies, lubricate bearings, verify and correct pump and motor alignment, assess vibration, abnormal noise, and motor amperage draw, and clean, repack, or replace bearings as required. Optional services may be performed only with Government authorization. The contractor must perform the work onsite and provide hard-copy and electronic reports after each quarterly visit documenting inspection findings, maintenance performed, deficiencies, and recommendations. The anticipated structure is a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, for up to 20 quarterly service visits over five years. Quotes will be evaluated for technical acceptability and price, with award to the responsible technically acceptable offeror offering the lowest total evaluated price.
