Description
The City of Poughkeepsie is soliciting an undetermined quantity of new and recap tires in various sizes and specified brands or approved equals for city vehicles. The bid includes listed tire items, retread and recap tires with casing-exchange pricing, catalog discounts for unlisted tires, and delivery to the City's Central Garage. Quantities are estimates only, and payment will be based on actual quantities used or work performed. The successful vendor must provide professional tire-shop services, including mounting, dismounting, repair, balancing, wheel switching, flat repair, valve-stem replacement, pickup and drop-off, and road service. Equipment and service must support all listed tire sizes, including nights and weekends, with road service provided within two hours of a service call. The contract is for one year with up to four additional twelve-month renewal periods. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and umbrella/excess liability coverage.
