Description
The City of Casper is soliciting construction bids to renovate and upgrade its Solid Waste Scale House. The base work includes improvements to the control area and offices, access windows with transaction drawers at the exit scale, refreshed finishes in three offices, and an eastward addition to the scale portion of the building using a pre-engineered metal building matching the existing structure. An alternate includes a metal-framed addition to the north side of the break room, with an expanded employee break area, an additional restroom, storage space, and refreshed finishes. Construction will likely require phasing so the scale house can remain operational in a limited capacity, with the phasing plan coordinated with the City and scale-house staff. A bid guaranty is required, and bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN VirtuBid by an eligible planholder.
