Description
Metropolitan Community College is soliciting bids for four refurbished, standalone battery-powered hydraulic stretchers for use in its EMS program. The stretchers must use an internal motor to raise and lower patients but be manually pushed into and pulled out of ambulances without an autoloader. The objective is to obtain durable, safe, ergonomically designed equipment that reduces caregiver lifting injuries, improves patient handling, and integrates with existing ambulance fastening systems. Addendum No. 1 deletes the training requirements section. Bidders must not include training costs in their bid prices, because the EMS program has field-experienced instructors who do not require product training. The addendum must be signed and included with the bid submission. Other original solicitation requirements remain unchanged, including the specified product response, warranty information, return policy, safety-standards compliance documentation, and required affidavits and forms.
