Description
Ogden City Corporation is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified civil engineering firms with experience in drinking-water source-to-tap water quality assessment and control. The selected firm will support Phases 2 through 4 of a comprehensive Water Quality Mitigation Project, including water quality monitoring and risk assessment, pipe-deposit sampling and characterization, water-main cleaning trials using unidirectional flushing and foam swabbing, treatment evaluation and bench- and pilot-scale testing for iron and manganese removal, and development of a full-scale unidirectional flushing program with field journals and water-quality data interpretation. Respondents must demonstrate relevant firm and personnel qualifications, recent comparable project experience, special resources, schedule compliance, client references, and the ability to perform all aspects of the work directly or through qualified subconsultants. The SOQ must include the specified qualification sections, resumes, and federal eligibility, conflict-of-interest, lobbying, DBE, and federal-requirements acknowledgments. Phase 2 has a not-to-exceed amount of $226,550 and ends July 30, 2028; Phases 3 and 4 have a not-to-exceed amount of $623,150 and end May 30, 2031.
