Description
The City of New York Department of Parks and Recreation seeks up to 15 qualified consultants to provide as-needed comprehensive construction management, partial construction management, and consulting services for projects at City-owned properties throughout the five boroughs. Assignments will be issued through work orders; complex projects may use project-specific mini-RFPs, while non-complex projects may be assigned rotationally. Services may include pre-construction reviews and estimating, construction inspection and administration, schedule and cost control, quality assurance and quality control, safety oversight, document management, payment review, change-order analysis, closeout, and related environmental, planning, surveying, tree, and archaeological services. Proposers must demonstrate relevant experience, organizational capacity, a strategic approach, and qualified key personnel. The submission requires a technical proposal, separate financial proposal, project references, identification of key personnel and resumes, organizational chart, list of subconsultants, acknowledgment of addenda, and Schedule B M/WBE documentation. The master contract term is 1,460 consecutive calendar days from the written notice to proceed, with no renewal option, and the anticipated maximum amount for each awarded contract is $18,000,000. Up to 15 consultants may be selected; individual work orders will establish project-specific scope, schedule, and fees.
