The Ministry of Natural Resources is seeking a contractor to rehabilitate the Wagita Bay Concrete Dam, a gravity dam at the north end of Steep Rock Lake in Ontario. The dam separates the Seine River diversion channel from Steep Rock Lake and is approximately 10 km northwest of Atikokan. The site is accessible via Rifle Lake Access Road from Highway 622. The access road is maintained during spring, summer, and fall but is not plowed or maintained during winter. The estimated contract period is 18 months.
