Description
Renewable Water Resources is soliciting a lump-sum construction bid to restore and stabilize an eroded section of streambank along Brushy Creek adjacent to existing sanitary sewer infrastructure. The work includes approximately 80 linear feet of in-stream boulder toe protection, excavation and grading of the washed-out bank, backfill, geotextile installation, and protection and maintenance of existing sewer infrastructure and an aerial sewer crossing. The contractor must provide temporary stormwater bypass pumping and diversion systems, cofferdams, dewatering, sediment and erosion controls, coir matting, permanent and temporary seeding, riparian plantings, site restoration, and related construction access and cleanup. The project requires South Carolina contractor licensing, a minimum of 50% self-performance of actual on-site construction work, specified insurance coverage, and a bid bond of at least 5% if the bid exceeds $100,000. Substantial completion is required by November 30, 2026, and final completion by December 31, 2026; liquidated damages are $250 per day for applicable delays.
