Description
Lee's Summit R-7 School District is seeking electronic bids for two new Type A 20-passenger diesel school buses, each equipped with a wheelchair lift, and two new 9-plus-1 non-CDL passenger vans, one with a wheelchair lift and one without. Bidders must provide descriptive literature and configuration information, operator instructions, technical specifications, necessary instruction information and parts lists, and on-site training upon delivery. The solicitation includes specifications for each vehicle configuration and permits the District to award the purchase in its entirety or split it among bidders. The bid remains in effect for at least one year after award, during which the District may make additional purchases at the itemized bid prices. Respondents must demonstrate at least three similar clients and provide three favorable references for similar projects or items, preferably involving school districts or governmental agencies within the last three to five years. The District will evaluate price, vehicle performance and features, lead time, warranties, experience, references, resources, and approach.
