The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chicago District plans to solicit construction services for rehabilitation of approximately 3,217 linear feet of an existing 48-inch trunk sewer using a 42-inch slipliner pipe. The scope includes approximately 2,368 linear feet of base work and 849 linear feet of option work. Required work includes construction of two insertion pits, sewer cleaning, televising, proofing, sliplining, annulus grouting, sewer lateral reinstatement, maintenance of traffic, and temporary erosion and sediment control. Personnel must be trained, certified, and equipped for safety operations in accordance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 standards. The acquisition is planned as a 100% small-business set-aside, with an estimated construction magnitude of $1 million to $5 million. The solicitation package is planned for advertisement in November 2026 and will be accessed through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment.
