Description
Prairie-Hills School District 144 is seeking E-Rate-eligible Category One Internet access and wide area network services for its school locations. The scope includes dedicated, symmetrical, fully managed Internet access at two hub sites, with a minimum requested capacity of 5 Gbps, and managed, leased-lit, symmetrical Layer 2 Ethernet WAN transport connecting the hubs to district locations. The WAN includes 10 Gbps connections at the hubs and 2 Gbps connections at six other sites; bidders must also provide specified higher-bandwidth pricing options. Proposals must cover the complete scope and all listed locations to be responsive. The provided pricing workbook requires separate pricing for monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, special construction, and eligible and ineligible costs. Bidders are asked to price 12-, 36-, and 60-month terms, with up to two optional one-year renewals. Optional 10 Gbps Internet pricing is informational, while additional 5 Gbps and 10 Gbps WAN pricing for the 2 Gbps locations is required. The workbook also requests bidder information, assumptions or exceptions, and confirmation that pricing is valid for at least 180 days.
