Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for a potential 20-year lease of an overflow parking lot containing at least 1,000 spaces for the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. The anticipated structure is a 10-year firm term followed by a 10-year non-firm term, with estimated occupancy beginning October 1, 2027. The opportunity may involve an existing parking lot or a parcel requiring design and construction on a VA-approved site. The offered property must meet VA requirements, including appropriate zoning, paved and clearly marked spaces, a fully fenced perimeter, gated entrances, shuttle waiting areas, video surveillance throughout the parking area, at least 26 accessible spaces, and compliance with applicable fire-safety, physical-security, accessibility, and sustainability standards. The lease is expected to be full service, including lighting, trash service, ice removal, and snow removal. Respondents must submit a capabilities statement of no more than five pages addressing the property, ownership, location, zoning, development or construction plans, and applicable business-status registrations.
