Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price purchase and installation of a Hussey Seating Company MAXAM telescopic bleacher system, or an approved equivalent, for the 72 FSS/FSY Youth Center. The system must be wall-attached, manually operated, approximately 45 feet long, no more than 9 feet 1 inch deep when deployed, and include five seating tiers, structural steel framing, non-slip decking, contoured HDPE seats, integrated ADA wheelchair and companion seating, handrails, guardrails, automatic tier locks, and compliance with IBC and ICC 300 load standards. Offerors proposing an equivalent product must identify its manufacturer and provide descriptive literature, specifications, and other technical information demonstrating compliance with the stated physical, functional, and performance requirements. The contractor must demolish and dispose of the existing bleachers, provide freight and inside delivery, protect the rubberized gym floor, prepare the site, install the new system using a factory-certified installer, conduct formal structural and operational safety testing, and provide on-site operational and safety training for at least five Youth Center staff members. New installation must begin immediately after removal. Delivery is required within 60 calendar days after receipt of order. The requirement is a total small-business set-aside under NAICS 337127, with FAR 52.219-14 limitations on subcontracting, and includes a standard five-year manufacturer warranty.
