Description
The University of Washington (UW) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide real estate appraisal and consultation services. These services will primarily cover the Tacoma/South Puget Sound, Seattle, and Bothell areas, with the possibility of extending to broader Western Washington. The scope of work includes appraisals for various property types such as commercial, mixed-use, office, retail, laboratory, warehouse, industrial, residential, farmland, timber, right-of-way, easements, vacant land, and medical clinics. Services also encompass appraisal review, market analysis, feasibility studies, and higher and best use studies. Vendors must have a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in real estate appraisal services and the ability to work in Washington State. Proposals will be evaluated based on firm qualifications, expertise, staff experience, pricing, and references. The initial contract term is two years, with automatic annual renewals for up to a total of ten years. Pricing proposals should clearly identify hourly consulting rates and subcontractor mark-ups, with rates remaining firm for the initial term and subject to annual adjustment based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
