Description
The City is soliciting proposals to lease airport property: an existing 1,817-square-foot building, wood deck, and parking lots on approximately one acre; approximately 21.7 acres of vacant land with an asphalt parking lot; or both. The vacant land may be subdivided. Minimum bids are $2,800 per month for the building and associated property, or $100 per month per acre for the vacant land. The lease may run for up to 10 years, with two five-year renewal options. Proposals should address financial capability and lease terms, relevant development experience, a business plan and proposed land use, project timeline and feasibility, and community and economic impact. The site is subject to airport, FAA, zoning, building-code, height, lighting, and environmental constraints; residential development is restricted. The selected lessee will be responsible for utilities, maintenance, applicable insurance, and property taxes. The proposal package also requires a completed pricing proposal, questionnaire responses, references, and specified disclosure and certification forms.
