Description
The City seeks shops to provide as-needed maintenance, repairs, inspections, warranty and recall work, and related services for its light-duty vehicle and equipment fleet. Work includes routine preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, parts procurement, and expedited service for police and emergency vehicles. Shops must provide qualified technicians, required tools and diagnostic equipment, secure vehicle storage, written estimates and work orders, and timely status updates. Pick-up and delivery capability is required; mobile and field service is preferred. Subcontracting specialized work is permitted with prior City approval. Proposals must include a Letter of Submittal, Technical Proposal, Management Proposal, and Cost Proposal. Responders must complete the attached cost worksheets and maintenance grid, and provide the requested corporate history, financial viability information, staff and shop qualifications, experience, work plan, schedule, and pricing. The City anticipates multiple awards. The initial contract term is one year, renewable for four additional one-year periods by mutual agreement.
