Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting on a sole-source basis for the repair of one ASSY, PLATE AND CAPA component, NIIN 016779934, part number NV823192-3, used in a Sub Atmosphere Control system. The repair must return the carcass to “A” condition and include packaging and shipment back to the Navy. The estimated repair turnaround time is 78 days and will establish an enforceable delivery date. The repaired item must meet the applicable operational, functional, inspection, testing, packaging, marking, mercury-free, and quality requirements. The solicitation identifies Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. (CAGE 73030) as the approved source and states that only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer’s item will be considered; proof of authorized-distributor status must accompany the offer.
