Description
The State of Delaware is seeking multiple vendors to provide secure document and data destruction services for state agencies and other eligible governmental entities. The scope includes scheduled inside-bin pickups, bulk and event-based box pickups, haz-mat document destruction, on-site destruction, and destruction or sanitization of digital and magnetic media, including hard drives, tapes, solid-state drives, flash drives, CDs, DVDs, mobile electronics, and memory modules. Vendors must provide secure locking containers, maintain control and security throughout collection, transport, sanitization, and destruction, and provide chain-of-custody records and certificates of secure destruction. Services may be proposed for one, two, or all three Delaware counties, and awards may be made by county to multiple vendors. Vendors must hold current NAID AAA certification for applicable services and comply with relevant IRS and NIST requirements, including NIST SP 800-88 Revision 2 and NIST SP 800-53 Revision 5, as well as applicable Delaware environmental permits. Media sanitization methods must be appropriate to the media type and intended disposition; degaussing is not permitted for solid-state media. The contract has a two-year initial term with three one-year renewal periods.
