Description
The City of Correctionville seeks a Phase I archaeological survey of five properties as part of a federally funded disaster recovery housing buyout and demolition project. The proposed work includes reviewing historic plat maps, historic and archaeological records, prior inventories, and the Office of the State Archaeologist’s I-Sites Pro database; conducting pedestrian surveys and systematic subsurface testing at each property; and preparing a final report that follows AIA guidelines for Phase I investigations. Proposals must include the firm’s qualifications and data, a cost proposal, an estimated project timeline and scheduling priority, a description of the proposed tasks, and a draft contract incorporating the required federal contract language. The selected firm must be eligible to work on federally funded projects. The work is expected to take no more than eight weeks and must start by the first week of December.
