Description
The City of Culver City is soliciting proposals from qualified civil engineering firms for a feasibility study and up to 30% design for the Fox Hills Park Stormwater Capture Project. The project will address runoff from approximately 45 acres and evaluate infiltration, retention, filtration, underground storage, pretreatment, bioswales or rain gardens, monitoring facilities, and reuse of captured stormwater for landscape irrigation and other municipal purposes. The selected consultant will provide geotechnical investigation and percolation testing, environmental study, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, surveying and utility verification, preliminary and final civil design, plans and specifications, quantity and cost estimates, permitting support, construction phasing and traffic-control plans, and community outreach support. Deliverables include formal technical studies, plans and specifications, AutoCAD files, cost estimates, permit applications, public-meeting materials and minutes, and final construction documents. The proposal must address the firm's qualifications, comparable projects, proposed team, approach, schedule, fees, references from at least three recent similar projects, insurance requirements, and any requested changes to the City's draft professional services agreement.
